On April 25, the Argon Recovery Unit of Shuangliang Silicon Materials (Baotou) Co, Ltd, which was a BOO project of Shanghai LifenGas Gas Co, Ltd, was successfully put into trial operation. The argon-rich exhaust gas from hundreds of single-crystal furnaces is treated by the ARU to remove dust, carbon, oxygen and nitrogen, and then "perfectly" regenerated. The ARU's overall recovery efficiency and product gas purity exceed design specifications. The regenerated high purity argon gas is circulated to the single crystal furnaces. The operation of this ARU can save Shuangliang about 200 million RMB per year. At the same time, high purity argon also improves the quality of single crystal products.
Shuangliang ARU adopts the latest hydrogenation III generation technology of Shanghai LifenGas, which successfully demonstrated Shanghai LifenGas' philosophy of insisting on innovation and providing customers with the lowest total cost of the whole life cycle, marking an important stage in the development of LifenGas Argon Recovery.
