Project Overview
Recently, the core equipment of a large-scale argon recovery system—the distillation cold box—designed and built by Lifengas for RIL’s solar wafer manufacturing facility in India, was successfully delivered to site and installed.
This milestone marks the transition of the fully integrated photovoltaic value chain project—from quartz sand to modules—into the equipment installation and commissioning phase for its critical gas recycling system.
Installation Progress
As a key environmental supporting project for RIL’s 10 GW integrated solar manufacturing complex, Lifengas’ argon recovery and purification system is designed to enable efficient recycling of high-purity argon used in the crystal growth process.
The distillation cold box installed this time is the most important and precision-demanding core unit of the entire system.
With thorough preparation and professional execution on site, the cold box was positioned accurately in a single lift. The lifting process was safe, stable, and well-organized, earning high recognition from the client and partners.
The successful installation tells that the argon recovery system has formally entered phase of equipment installation and piping works.
Other key equipment, including dust removal and purification units, has also been delivered to site. System integration and commissioning will proceed as planned, laying a solid foundation for early project start-up.
