July 13, 2024 witnessed a significant breakthrough in the energy field as Yanchang Petroleum’s associated gas comprehensive utilization project achieved a successful commissioning and smoothly entered the production stage, realizing seamless liquid output.
Located in Yanchang County, Shaanxi Province, the project, covering an area of 17.1 acres, takes petroleum associated gas as its raw material and has a daily processing capacity of 100,000 standard cubic meters. In order to ensure the success of the first – time production, both parties of this project strictly implemented the production plan and strictly abided by relevant standards, specifications, and process operation procedures. It made comprehensive preparations in advance for the commissioning of both process engineering and auxiliary engineering, laying a solid foundation for the safe and stable operation of the project. As of now, all technical indicators during the liquid discharge process have met the design requirements, with stable product quality and normal system parameters.
The project adopts an advanced and highly reliable core purification and liquefaction process package. With a skid – mounted modular design, the skids are pre-fabricated and pre-tested in the factory, and then transported to the project site. The on – site installation only needs to complete the connection of pipelines and power supply. After commissioning, it can be put into production immediately, which not only enables the on – site liquefaction of dispersed gas sources but also effectively reduces the construction period and costs.
Industry insiders pointed out that after the project is put into production, it will comprehensively promote the development of the local associated gas industry chain, significantly boost the local economy of Yanchang County, and inject new impetus into the development of the old revolutionary base area of Yan’an.
