LifenGas has achieved a significant milestone in its global expansion and green technology strategy by successfully winning a contract for a major air separation and nitrogen generation project in Kenya. This project not only marks a pivotal step in the company's strategic layout within the green ammonia value chain, but also provides a practical technological pathway for industrial decarbonization.
The project involves the supply of a core air separation unit (ASU) based on mature and reliable cryogenic technology. Designed for a nitrogen production capacity of about 20,000 Nm³/h, the unit is engineered for low energy consumption, easy operation, and high product purity. It will meet the client's demand for high-purity nitrogen in green ammonia production, so as to support their transition into a green energy enterprise and contribute more to Africa's green industrialization efforts.
Looking ahead, LifenGas reaffirms its commitment to deepening its expertise in green energy sectors, especially green ammonia. The company aims to actively collaborate with partners across energy, chemicals, steel, cement, and power generation industries. By promoting the large-scale application of high-efficiency, low-carbon equipment and exploring viable carbon reduction pathways, LifenGas strives to be a key contributor to building a cleaner, more sustainable industrial ecosystem.
