The Grand Blueprint for Green Energy
The CEEC Songyuan Hydrogen Energy Industrial Park project is located in Qian Gorlos Mongol Autonomous County in Songyuan City, Jilin Province. The project plans to construct 3,000 MW of renewable energy power generation capacity, as well as facilities for producing 800,000 tons of green synthetic ammonia and 60,000 tons of green methanol per year. The total investment is approximately 29.6 billion yuan. The first phase includes the construction of a 800 MW wind power plant, a 45,000-ton-per-year water electrolysis hydrogen production facility, a 200,000-ton flexible ammonia synthesis plant, and a 20,000-ton green methanol plant, with a total investment of 6.946 billion yuan. Operation is expected to commence in the second half of 2025. Implementing this project will inject strong momentum into local economic development and set a new benchmark for China’s green energy industry.
Demonstrating the Strength of an Industry Pioneer
Shanghai LifenGas has extensive experience in water electrolysis hydrogen production. They have successfully delivered over 20 sets of alkaline water electrolysis hydrogen production equipment with single-unit production capacities ranging from 50 to 8,000 Nm³/h. Their equipment serves industries including photovoltaics and green hydrogen. In the Songyuan project, LifenGas stood out and became the partner of Wuxi Huaguang Energy & Environment Group Co., Ltd. LifenGas was responsible for designing and producing two sets of 2,100 Nm³/h gas-liquid separation units and one set of 8,400 Nm³/h hydrogen purification units. This collaboration recognizes Shanghai LifenGas’s technical strength and affirms its commitment to green energy
Dual Assurance of Quality and Speed
The Songyuan project requires extremely high-quality standards. The client has stationed third-party professional inspectors on site to supervise the entire process. The gas analyzers, diaphragm control valves, and pneumatic shut-off valves utilize international brands. The pressure vessels are made of high-grade stainless steel, and the electrical components are selected and installed according to explosion-proof standards. Given these stringent requirements, the Hydrogen Production Business Department of Shanghai LifenGas and Huaguang Energy established a joint office. Based on fully meeting all technical specifications outlined in the contract annexes, they optimized equipment selection multiple times to achieve optimal conditions in terms of cost and delivery schedule.
To meet the urgent delivery deadline, Shanghai LifenGas’s production department implemented a two-shift system for two skid fabrication teams to accelerate production and shorten manufacturing time. Throughout the production process, the company strictly adhered to national standards and industry regulations. They actively responded to questions and requests for rectification raised by the inspectors to ensure the superior quality of the finished products.
