The Grand Blueprint for Green Energy
The CEEC Songyuan Hydrogen Energy Industrial Park project is located in Qian Gorlos Mongol Autonomous County, Songyuan City, Jilin Province. It plans for phased construction of 3,000 MW of renewable energy power generation capacity, 800,000 tons/year of green synthetic ammonia, and 60,000 tons/year of green methanol facilities, with a total investment of approximately 29.6 billion yuan. The first phase, with a total investment of 6.946 billion yuan, includes constructing 800 MW of wind power plant, a 45,000 tons/year water electrolysis hydrogen production facility, a 200,000-ton flexible ammonia synthesis plant, and a 20,000-ton green methanol plant. Commence operation is expected to be in the second half of 2025. The implementation of this project will not only inject strong momentum into the local economic development but also set a new benchmark for China’s green energy industry.
Demonstrating the Strength of an Industry Pioneer
LifenGas possesses rich experience in water electrolysis hydrogen production, having successfully delivered over 20 sets of alkaline water electrolysis hydrogen production equipment, with single-unit hydrogen production capacities ranging from 50 to 8000 Nm³/h, serving industries including photovoltaics and green hydrogen. With its outstanding technical capabilities and reliable equipment quality, Shanghai LifenGas has established a strong reputation within the industry.
In the Songyuan project, Shanghai LifenGas Co., Ltd. stood out and became the partner of Wuxi Huaguang Energy & Environment Group Co., Ltd., responsible for designing and producing 2 sets of 2100 Nm³/h gas-liquid separation units and 1 set of 8400 Nm³/h hydrogen purification unit. This collaboration is not only a recognition of Shanghai LifenGas’s technical strength but also an affirmation of its deep cultivation in the field of green energy.
Dual Assurance of Quality and Speed
The Songyuan project demands extremely high quality standards, with the client stationing third-party professional inspectors on-site for full-process supervision. Gas analyzers, diaphragm control valves, and pneumatic shut-off valves all utilize international brands. Pressure vessels employ high-grade stainless steel, and electrical component selection and installation meet explosion-proof standards. Faced with such stringent requirements, the Hydrogen Production Business Department of Shanghai LifenGas and Huaguang Energy adopted a joint office approach. Based on fully meeting all technical specifications outlined in the contract annexes, they repeatedly optimized equipment selection, striving to achieve the optimal conditions in terms of cost and delivery schedule.
Simultaneously, to meet the urgent delivery deadline, Shanghai LifenGas’s production department implemented a two-shift system across two skid fabrication teams to accelerate production progress and effectively shorten manufacturing time. Throughout the production process, the company strictly adhered to national standards and industry regulations. It actively responded to questions and rectification requests raised by the inspectors, ensuring the superior quality of the finished products.
