On April 28, 2025, the liquefied natural gas (LNG) plant with a daily processing capacity of 200,000 cubic meters was successfully commissioned at the Yijinhuoluo Banner project site in Inner Mongolia.
Located in Yijinhuoluo Banner, Ordos City, Inner Mongolia, this project uses pipeline gas as a source and has a daily processing capacity of 200,000 standard cubic meters. Initiated in March 2024, it achieved a seamless one-time commissioning in April 2025. Each stage of the project, from equipment unit design, skid-mounted installation, on-site construction and assembly, to commissioning and start-up, was meticulously overseen by robust project management and control mechanisms. These efforts ensured the smooth progress of the project and ultimately led to its successful completion. Currently, the plant is operating continuously and stably, with all performance indicators in line with design specifications, marking its official entry into full-scale production.
This project utilizes independently developed liquefaction technology and intelligent control systems to enable an efficient conversion process from natural gas extraction, purification and liquefaction. The project team overcame numerous obstacles, including challenging construction conditions in cold, high-altitude regions and stringent process requirements. Through optimized engineering solutions and strict safety management protocols, they achieved the remarkable feat of successful first-time production.
The successful delivery of this project is a strong testament to the reliability of the liquefaction process package, core equipment and control system. In particular, it underscores their stable operating capabilities in cryogenic environments, thereby laying a solid technical foundation for future large-scale projects.
When completed, this project will not only ensure stable regional gas supply, but also promote the coordinated development of the entire industrial chain, covering aspects such as natural gas storage, transportation and clean industrial fuel substitution. As a result, it will significantly enhance regional energy security, strike a harmonious balance between economic development and ecological civilization building, and bring about a mutually beneficial outcome for all parties involved!
